Cleaning exercise on the 22km Bertil Harding Highway.

National Roads Authority > Our Projects > Cleaning exercise on the 22km Bertil Harding Highway.

As part of efforts to maintain cleanliness on the roads, the National Roads Authority (NRA), is hereby inform the public that it has again embarked on a massive cleaning exercise on the Bertil Harding Highway.
This is part of the serial cleaning exercises conducted by the NRA since the construction of Phase I of the Bertil Harding Highway.
The cleaning exercise, which will be done both day and night, aims to explore more attractions on the newly/under-construction three-lane highway. Drivers are asked to exercise caution when travelling by the highway.

The National Roads Authority (NRA) is infuriated with the behaviour of people who are using the newly constructed roundabouts and drainages, especially along the Bertit Harding Highway, as dumping grounds.
We urge everybody to desist from such acts and those found wanting will face the full penalty as stated in the anti-littering laws.
The NRA urges the public to assist in maintaining the cleanliness of our roadway environment, as this is a collective national effort and responsibility of all Gambians.
