As part of efforts to maintain cleanliness on the roads, the National Roads Authority (NRA), on Wednesday, 7th August 2024, has again embarked on a massive cleaning exercise on the Bertil Harding Highway.
This is part of the serial cleaning exercises conducted by the NRA since the construction of Phase I of the Bertil Harding Highway.
The cleaning exercise, which will be done both day and night, aims to explore more attractions on the newly/under-construction three-lane highway.
The National Roads Authority (NRA) is infuriated with the behaviour of people who are using the newly constructed roundabouts and drainages, especially along the Bertil Harding Highway, as dumping grounds.
The NRA urges the public to assist in maintaining the cleanliness of our roadway environment, as this is a collective national effort and responsibility of all Gambians.
