He urged the contractors to adhere to the stipulated agreed duration of the contract, adding that they are also expecting quality and good roads from the company.
For his part, Maha Ly, Admin Director, Bologel CSI Construction Company, expressed delight after being awarded the contract, noting that they are a Gambian Construction Company, whose ultimate aim is to also contribute towards the development of the country.
“We believe in ourselves as Gambians and we believe with support from the NRA we can construct and deliver good quality roads for the country. We’ve already mobilised our materials without waiting for the government or NRA.”
As part of their dedication and willingness to deliver well for the project, Mr Ly said they are going to pre-finance the construction works, adding that they are hoping to complete the work as agreed in the contract by the National Roads Authority.
