President Barrow says the Kabada Road Project will change the lives of LRR people

President Adama Barrow said the ongoing Lot 3 Kiang Kabada Road project, if completed, will change not only the lives of the beneficiaries but also the people of LRR and beyond.

The Gambian leader stated this shortly after he visited the site during his Meets with the People’s Tour on Wednesday 27th November 2024.

The Lot 3 EPC Kabada Road Project is 102kms is contracted to Longjing Construction (a Chinese company), and GAMECS, a Gambian owned company, is the Consultant.

This network of roads for the Lot 3 project will be implemented in three (3) phases, as follows: –

Phase 1 links: Kwinella – Wellingara – Tabanani – Madina – Nioro – Sare Sajo – Njolfe

Nioro – Sibito – Sare Suna – Kudong Fula Kunda

Share Sajo – Nemakuta

Njolfen – Toranka Bantang – Kolior

Phase 2 links: Njolfen – Madina – Sare Samba – Daru Salam – Kohel – Konkol Kunda – Munkutalla

Phase 3 links: Missira – Sare Musa – Sunbundu – Senoba Jonki

Foroya Fula -Amgalei – Sara Seidy – Buiba – Buiba Mandika

Sasita Medina Alla – Japineh.

Phase 1 is currently under construction, while Phases 2 and 3 are yet to commence.

“I can see that the people are so happy about the road. This road is very important for them and, if completed, will not only change the lives of the beneficiaries but also LRR people and beyond,” said President Barrow shortly after his site visit.
