As the construction of the Bertil Harding Highway Road is in progress, the Contractor, Arezki S.A is hereby informing the general public that they are currently embarking on a series of activities along the 22km Bertil Harding Highway, starting from the Airport Junction to Sting Corner.
The on-going series of activities include, cleaning of the streetlight panels, installation of guard raits, temporary road markings as well as the massive cleaning of the road.
The temporary road markings will be done both day and night to meet the target completion of work before the Summit.
All drivers along the road are advised to slow down as detour signs will be in place to atert motorists, pedestrians, and cyclists as work progresses.
Truck drivers carrying sand and laterite are urged to cover their materials properly to avoid littering while driving along the road.
The National Roads Authority (NRA), Ministry of Transport, Works, and Infrastructure (MoTWI) and OIC Secretariat urged all vehicle owners to drive safely and follow strict traffic rules and regulations.
