The Lot 1 69km project is contracted to Gai Construction.

The project activities commence on 9 project roads out of the total 15 roads. The current progress of the project is 44%. Brief descriptions of the progress made on the various roads are presented below.

1. Basse Manneh Kunda – Demba Kunda – Gambisara Road (12.18km).

The contractor has completed the earthworks, subbase and base except for access junctions. They completed the construction of culverathin 80% completion of the concrete road pavement.

The contractor is yet to begin bituminous surface dressing. The overall progress is at 70%

2. Basse – Dampha Kunda – Tambasansang Road (9.20km).
