The Lot 4 roads project, is located in the Western Region and constitutes part of the country’s Western transportation link.

The Project consists of the construction of four sections for a total length of approximately 20.7 km.

The Contractor for this project is SOMAGEC, while GAMECS is the Consultant

KALAGI TO BUNDALI) (10.20 KM)

The contractor has currently achieved 98% on the earthworks, and has entirely completed the reinforced concrete pavement (Irish crossing), drainage structures (culverts) and erosion control (Irish crossings and culverts) respectively.

JOREM NEMA KUNDA – JOREM BUNDA KUNDA – (1.45KM).

The contractor has currently achieved 98.8% on the earthworks, and has entirely completed the reinforced concrete pavement (Irish crossing), drainage structures (culverts) and erosion control (Irish crossings and culverts) respectively.

SANGAJOR – DASILAMI – 5.78KM

97% of the earthworks have been completed, while the reinforced concrete pavements (Irish crossing), drainage structure (culverts), and erosion control (Irish crossings and culverts) have all been completed.

KANFENDA –MANDINA – 5.10KM

The contractor has entirely completed the reinforced concrete pavement (Irish crossing), drainage structures (culverts) and erosion control (Irish crossings and culverts) respectively. They have also achieved 95.8% of the earthworks.

Overall work progress is 73.2%.

GIBORO-SOHM 13KM

As the project is in an early stage, the Contractor is currently on the clearing and grubbing stage.
