NRA, MoTWI and Partners Commence Week-Long Community Sensitisation Programme in Nuimi Hakalang
Following the successful completion and inauguration of the Nuimi–Hakalang Road Project, the National Roads Authority (NRA), in collaboration with the Ministry of Transport, Works and Infrastructure (MoTWI), alongside the Contractor, on Monday, 12 January 2026, commenced a week-long community road safety sensitisation programme targeting communities in Nuimi Hakalang and its environs the North Bank Region.
The sensitisation programme forms part of the project’s post-construction activities and is aimed at educating beneficiary communities on the safe and responsible use of the newly constructed road infrastructure, with particular emphasis on road safety, preservation of the asset, and community ownership.
Communities scheduled to benefit from the sensitisation exercise include Barra garage, 3 schools( Albreda senior secondary school, Prince basic cycle and Kerr demba basic cycle school), Bunaidu, Aljamdou, Lameng, Juffureh, Albreda, Sami, Pakau, Pakala, Kuntaya, Bafuloto, and surrounding settlements.
