A technical team from the National Roads Authority (NRA), led by the Senior Feeder Roads Manager, on Wednesday, 1st July 2026, commenced a three-day inspection tour of ongoing road and culverts project sites across the country.

The team comprises senior engineers and technical personnel undertaking the exercise under the guidance of the Managing Director of the Authority.

The inspection tour aims to assess the progress of ongoing projects, gathering firsthand information on implementation activities, and evaluating the quality of works being carried out at various sites.

The exercise will also provide an opportunity for the team to engage project engineers, contractors, and consultants on key technical and operational issues to ensure that projects are progressing in accordance with approved specifications, timelines, and quality standards.

The National Roads Authority and the Ministry of Transport, Works, and Infrastructure (MOTWI), remains committed to the effective supervision and timely delivery of road infrastructure projects across The Gambia as part of its mandate to provide safe, reliable, and sustainable road networks for national development.
