President Barrow to Launch Connect Gambia Road Projects in NBR, CRR & WCR
President Adama Barrow today begins a week-long nationwide tour to launch the Connect Gambia Infrastructure Projects, with foundation stone-laying ceremonies scheduled across the North Bank, Central River and West Coast Regions.
The tour will also feature the inauguration of some of the completed road projects, including the Banni–Salikene–Njaba Kunda Road in the North Bank Region, the Njau Loop Road and Raneru – Karantaba Road in the Central River Region, and the Garawol Road Project in the Upper River Region.
The President’s tour will commence with foundation stone-laying ceremonies for road projects in Barra, Fass, Kerr Cherno, Jurunku, Ndongu Kebbeh and Kerr Omar in the North Bank Region.
The Connect Gambia road projects are being implemented in seven lots, covering three administrative regions: North Bank, Central River, and West Coast Regions, representing a major step in the government’s efforts to improve nationwide road connectivity and accessibility.
