As part of his ongoing “Meet with the People’s Tour”, President Adama Barrow on Sunday 16th November 2025, inspected the ongoing construction of the 27km Sutukoba to Chamoi Bunda Road in Wuli, Upper River Region.

The contractor is currently on site, clearing, preparing the roadbed, and applying the subgrade layer, respectively.
The current road progress is 38%. The road, when completed, will enhance the connectivity of isolated communities to access health care centres and facilitate easier movement of agricultural produce to markets for improved social mobility and economic growth.
Residents from Barrow Kunda and surrounding areas expressed satisfaction with the ongoing construction and praised President Barrow’s efforts.
