The updated progress in the ongoing Lot 2 Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) road project in the Central River Region (CRR).

The overall progress of work is 68%.

The contractor Cornerstone is currently working on two of the three road sections.

The Consultant of the project is CityScape Associates.

Base course processing and final level cutting are underway on Karantaba Road, and drainage structures are being constructed on Laminkoto-Banni-Youna-Kunting Road.

Below is the progress update for each road section:

1. Njawo Loop up to Carol Warf (12km).

The contractor has completed all earthworks, including subgrade, subbase layers, as well as drainage structures.

The base course layer is 90% completed, while sealing work is scheduled to proceed subsequently.

The overall progress for road 1 is 75%.

2. Karantaba-Reneru-Tabanani-Demfaye Njaga-Litu Fulla (26km).

The contractor has completed all earthworks, including subgrade, subbase layers, as well as drainage structures.

The base processing is currently in progress and has completed 64%. Double bituminous surface dressing has been completed 22%.

The overall progress is at 76.5% for the road

3. Laminkoto-Banni-Youna-Kunting (12km).

The contractor has completed all earthworks, while the subbase layer is at 85% completed, the base course work has reached 55% completion, and the drainage structures are 59% completed.

The overall progress is at 58% for road 3.
