In response to growing community concerns regarding stormwater accumulation on roadways, the Acting Managing Director of the National Roads Authority (NRA), accompanied by senior members of the technical team, on Monday, 28th July 2025, conducted a routine inspection tour.

The visit focused on several flood-prone sites within the Kanifing Municipality (KM) and the West Coast Region.

The objective of the inspection was to assess current conditions on the ground and explore practical solutions to mitigate the impact of stormwater on road infrastructure.

The inspection covered key areas, including Pipeline, Jeshwang, Ebo Town, Nema Kunku, Latrikunda, Sukuta, and Bakoteh.
