The construction of the 50km Urban Roads Project Lot 1 Work Update.
This project is contracted to SSTP, CSE, and AL FAHD JV.
Road P1: GPPC – New Jeshwang (GACEM Junction) – Jokor Junction (2.56 km).
Work progress: 98%. The outstanding works include zebra and stop line markings, information signs, and some streetlighting poles.
Road P2: Kanifing Hospital – Bertil Harding (Methodist) – Estate Road (1.01 km).
Work progress 99%: Remains zebra and stop line markings, and information signs.
Road P3: GPPC Rd – Westfield Jokor – Abuko concrete road (2.8 km)
Work progress 78%: the contractor is currently working on the Kerbs (2.26 km placed), sidewalk pavement (1.7 km paved), concrete pavement (2.1 km already paved), erection of solar streetlight poles (20 poles erected) and erection of traffic signs ongoing (9 signs erected) respectively.
Road P5: Sukuta – Latrikunda Sabaji (3.36 km)
Work progress 94%: the contractor is working on the Erection of solar streetlighting poles (49 poles erected). Remains of road markings and traffic signs.
Road P10: Junctionba – Hermann Gmeiner Road Amsterdam (1.26 km).
Work progress 99%: Remains zebra and stop line markings, and information signs.
Road P12: Rev. J.C Fye (2.31 km).
Work progress 76%: following the completion of relocation of water services, the contractor is currently placing the kerbs (2 km placed), shallow drain (2 km executed), and 2 km has been asphalted. The outstanding works are sidewalk pavement, road markings, traffic signs and the erection of streetlighting poles.
Road P13: Sukuta Health Centre – Kololi/Senegambia Road Intersection (3.25 km).
Work progress 84%: the contractor is working on the relocation of water services. The remaining works include sidewalk pavement, road markings, traffic signs and the erection of solar streetlight poles.
Road P15: Bundung Highway (2.68 km).
Work progress 99 %: Remains zebra and stop line markings, and information signs.
Road P16: Kanifing Hospital – GTMI (0.75 km)
